About Us

At Foster Studios, we believe music should inspire and empower. Our personalized one-on-one lessons nurture creativity, confidence, and skill—meeting each student where they are and guiding them toward their full potential.
Foster Studios was created out of a passion for high-quality music education that goes beyond just playing notes. We saw a need for a learning environment that fosters both technical excellence and a true love for music—one that equips students with the skills to grow while keeping the joy of making music at the heart of the experience.
We offer instruction in piano, guitar, ukulele, voice, songwriting, choir, and music theory, tailoring lessons to each student’s unique goals.

More than just a music school, we are a community of musicians who love to learn, create, and share their gifts.

Meet Your Teacher!

Hello! My name is Taylor Foster, and I’m thrilled to help you grow as a musician. Originally from the Southeast, I recently moved to beautiful San Diego with my husband and have loved every moment of teaching music in this inspiring place.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Liberty University with a degree in Commercial Music, specializing in voice while also studying piano and songwriting. With years of experience as a private music teacher, I love coaching students one-on-one and watching their confidence and skills flourish. In addition to private instruction, I serve as the choir teacher at Oaks Classical Academy.

My love for music extends beyond teaching—I’ve been a worship leader for over eight years and have had the privilege of leading in various churches across the U.S.

Beyond music, I have a deep passion for education and have worked as a kindergarten teacher, paraprofessional, tutor, and speech and debate coach. For me, teaching is about more than just music—it’s about inspiring students to learn, grow, and discover their potential.

When I’m not teaching or making music, I enjoy baking sourdough, drinking coffee, and serving in youth ministry at my church.

I can’t wait to meet you and make music together!
